We will still be here!
From the desk of the President
The Robeson County History Museum will be closed until further notice in order to be compliant with the “Safe Distance” mandate of the local, state, and federal governments.
The museum had removed the “Old Tool Time” exhibit and had begun to set up the “Robeson Cooks” exhibit when Covid-19 changed Spring 2020 for everyone. Plans for a spring fund-raising event and opening of the new exhibit have been postponed until a later date, yet to be determined.
The Covid-19 virus did not stop the spring blossoms of the Helen Sharpe Memorial Garden. The new landscaping burst forth with the brilliant colors of the season and can be enjoyed by those who cruise by! When the threat of this deadly virus has passed, the museum garden will be a beautiful venue to host a variety of outdoor events and activities.
After we weather this invisible storm that has attacked our nation, the museum will re-open with some fresh, new exhibits and look forward to many visitors, ready to explore the outside world again and discover what is new in our history of the county!
Good health and safety to all during this time.
Faye Middleton, President
Robeson County History Museum
