The Museum is partially funded by the City of Lumberton and Robeson County. The majority of our funds come from private donations, fundraising events, and friends of the museum.
We are able to preserve the county's history thanks to members of the public like you.

The Robeson County History Museum thrives because of our volunteers.
Our docents bring the museum artifacts and treasures to life. Docents lead guided tours and offer a hands on experience to our visitors.
Feel more comfortable behind the scenes? Assist us with clerical projects such as scanning images and collecting stories. Brainstorm ideas with us and help develop future projects and events.
