A Message from the President's Desk

On behalf of the Museum Board of Directors, I would like to invite you to the gala event of the New Year. On January 24, 2015 the Museum will host our first annual benefit entitled BALLADS, BRUSHES, AND BBQ. The event will be held at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Lumberton beginning at 6 PM. Tickets are $15 per person.

The evening begins with a delicious BBQ dinner catered by Abigail’s Tea Room. Entertainment will be provided by local performers. The Robeson County Arts Council will showcase works by local artists, some of which will be for sale. There will be a silent and live auction including a host of exciting items contributed by local businesses and members of the Museum Board of Directors.

Proceeds from this benefit will be used to fund Museum exhibits during the year, to maintain our current artifacts, and to preserve the local heritage of Robeson County. Please join us in this worthwhile effort to keep our community alive.

Tickets may be purchased at the Museum during regular operating hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM until Noon and on Sundays from 2-4 PM.
